Our Modern Collection offers beautifully rendered organic designs that are both fresh and sophisticated. All rugs are hand woven in Nepal by highly skilled artisans using the finest hand-carded and hand-spun Himalayan wool, Indian mulberry silk, and ecologically sustainable fibers, such as nettle, hemp and linen. Natural vegetable dyes and Swiss chromium dyes are applied to the unbleached wool to produce colors of unparalleled vibrancy and depth. When finished, each rug is brought to a state-of-the-art facility in Switzerland where it gets a luxurious finish and wash. Swiss wash ensures the preservation of natural lanolin in the wool, which makes the rug more lustrous, soft and durable and acts as a natural stain inhibitor. All rugs are GoodWeave certified ensuring that no child labor was used in manufacturing. All designs are available in standard sizes - 8'x10', 9'x12', 10'x14' and can be made to order in custom sizes and colors
